Resident Stylist is an online platform that connects Clients seeking beauty, hair, and styling services with Stylists who provide such services. Resident Stylist is not a salon or employer — we act solely as a booking facilitator and technology provider.

3. Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 18 years of age, and
• Able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction.

By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Be responsible for all activities under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

5. Booking and Payments

• All bookings are made through the Platform and confirmed once payment is processed.
• Prices are set by Stylists and displayed before checkout.
• Payments are securely processed via our authorised payment provider.
• Resident Stylist may charge a service fee or commission on each booking.
• Refunds or rescheduling are subject to the Cancellation Policy (see below).

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• Clients may cancel bookings according to the Stylist’s individual cancellation policy.
• No-shows or late cancellations may result in full or partial charge.
• Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Responsibilities of Stylists

• Hold valid licences or certifications required to perform their services.
• Maintain professionalism and hygiene standards.
• Honour all confirmed bookings and communicate promptly with Clients.

Resident Stylist may remove or suspend Stylists who breach these standards.

8. Platform Conduct

• Misuse, hack, or interfere with the Platform.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Circumvent the booking process to avoid service fees.
• Collect or store personal data of others without consent.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Resident Stylist provides the Platform “as is” and makes no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or suitability. We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or quality of services provided by Stylists. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resident Stylist is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and software on this Platform are the property of Resident Stylist and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, distribute, or use any part of the Platform without written permission.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time for any reason, including breaches of these Terms.

13. Governing Law
